What Is a Girder?

The girder, also called the frame, is the base of the car. It is generally composed of two longitudinal beams and several beams.

It has sufficient strength and rigidity to withstand the load of the car and the impact from the wheels.
Beam. It is applied to a main piece of wood on a wooden cylinder to form a ridge. The sections are mostly rectangular or round, and are mostly made of pine, nanmu or fir. It is one of the skeletons of traditional wooden structures in China.
The connection structure between the front and rear main shafts in a bicycle frame includes straight beams, curved beams, single beams, double beams, etc. (sometimes also referred to as double beams)
The more famous bicycle at the end of the last century was named because of its large beam.
