What is a Hand Compressor?
Manual presses are mainly used for the removal of tight fittings such as gears and shaft sleeves and the correction of deformed parts. When choosing a press, try to use a multi-purpose device. As the diameter of the workpiece to be corrected is different, different presses are used. When calibrating smaller and longer workpieces, manual presses are often used. The manual press is simple in structure and easy to operate.
- The manual press consists of a frame, a table, a pad, and a hydraulic head. The worktable is lifted by the lifting device on the beam and moves along the frame column. There is a support on the column to fix the worktable. The hydraulic head is clamped on the bottom surface of the frame beam. The oil cylinder and two different functions of the plunger oil pump constitute a more complete hydraulic system. The device is centralized, the volume is small, no power is needed, and the pressure processing task is completed manually.
- Manual presses are divided into rack and screw type. The figure below shows a manual screw press.
- Straightening machines commonly used in heat treatment workshops include: manual presses, hydraulic correction machines, tempering presses, etc.
- 1. Hydraulic correction machine: When the workpiece diameter is more than 50 mm, it should be corrected on the hydraulic correction machine. This kind of equipment moves quickly and smoothly, and the working pressure is generally 5 ~ 200 tons. When calibrating shafts or rod-shaped workpieces with a diameter of less than 30 mm, an 8-ton hydraulic press can be used; if a workpiece with a diameter of 30 to 40 mm is calibrated, a 12-ton one is used; if a workpiece with a diameter of 50-70 mm is calibrated, 40 tons can be selected Hydraulic straightening machine. - 1. Powered by the compression of air, no noise and pollution, simple structure and no space.
- 2. The manual press can make the upper mold base can be raised and lowered according to the height of the parts, which is easy to use, extremely safe, and the temperature deviation is small to make the work more accurate.
