What Is a Hoist Trolley?
A wheel barrow (barrow; barrow; hand truck) is a carrying vehicle that is pushed and pulled by manpower. It is the ancestor of all vehicles. Despite the continuous development of material handling technology for trolleys, trolleys are still used as an indispensable handling tool. The trolley is widely used in production and life because it has low cost, simple maintenance, convenient operation, light weight, can work in places where motor vehicles are inconvenient to use, and is very convenient for moving lighter items in short distances.
Trolley Trolley Safety
- 1. The use of trolleys can reduce human lift and back fatigue. They are usually the best choice for the following activities:
- Loading and unloading heavy cargo;
- Reduce the number of trips during the transportation of goods.
- 2. Choose a suitable trolley in your work and make sure it can be used to carry the weight and size of the cargo:
- Special trolleys are only used for special handling purposes (eg trolleys with bottom brackets can be used to handle round containers);
- Determine your transport route and remove any obstructions;
- Wear safe and non-slip shoes-it is recommended to use ANSI approved safety shoes to protect your feet and prevent heavy objects from falling and the wheel of the trolley;
- Wear gloves to get good friction;
- Avoid wearing bulky, loose clothes, as they will trip you up and cause you to be injured by a wheel of a trolley.
- 3.Use proper techniques for loading and unloading by trolley
- Bend your knees and straighten your back. Use your legs instead of your back to do this.
- Do not use too much force, or the sudden lifting action will cause damage to your back.
- 4. Keep the balance and stability of the goods when unloading
- Heavier cargo is placed at the bottom;
- Do not stack a pile of goods above your sight;
- Place the cargo towards the front of the bearing, do not exceed the handle of the cart, and then carry heavy objects;
- Make sure the weight is stable and won't shake or fall over;
- Handling bulky or delicate instruments must be bundled and fastened.
- 5.Operate the cart for minimal physical fatigue and maximum maneuverability
- Hold the handle tightly
- Bend your knees and keep your back straight;
- Remove everything from your path;
- Push away, don't run;
- Take the push way, don't pull, so the operation is not difficult;
- Back only when you need to enter a small space;
- Don't try to stop your cart with your feet.
Retrofit of trolleys
- 1. Usually, the frame of my trolley is relatively small, it is very inconvenient to load large things, and it is also unstable. The frame can be improved to make it freely retractable.
- 2. In order to save effort when pushing a cart, the push frame can be folded into a certain angle here.
- 3. When the cart is downhill, it is a very troublesome thing. Especially in a crowded train station, anyone who has used a trolley should feel the same. You can add a brake device to reduce the pressure when you go downhill. [2]
