What is the level employee?

level employees are a measuring rod that the ground inspectors supervised by a telescope to calculate the slope or difference at an altitude between two places. Whatever their material construction, most models can be treated in height, whether telescopically or with other side attachments. It is also called a leveling rod, its use is based on one of the simplest principles of geometry.

They may be the only long rod, but soil survey requires some portability. Lightweight staff at aluminum level can have nested sections that binoculars out and locked to set the height. Wooden types can be made in separate sections that combine end-to-end and lock as needed. They all completed numeric signs, either imperial or metric measurements, in a large, visible press. They are basically a very long rulers with a functional resolution of about 0.1 inches (2.5 mm).

A practical distance of up to 410 feet (125 m) for most models is monitored by vertical level staff, which records measurements marked with the cross wings of the telescope. The difference between two measurements is a height change. If the exact distance is also recorded, the simple calculation of triangulation brings the measurement of a change in increases in degrees or inclinations.
