What is the element of the machine?

Machines are made of machine elements, which are individual parts of the machine that move and affect other parts to make the machine work. Although the element of the machine may consist of smaller structural parts, the entire setting that performs this function is considered to be an element. For example, the valve consists of several components, including a hand wheel and a shaft or a stem, but only the entire valve would be called the machine element. There is a wide range of different machine elements, generally accountant and special purposes, and their optimal design is the main study field in engineering. The gears are rotating parts with blocking teeth that turn against other gears, causing it to turn and transmit rotary force or torque. The bearings are used to transport strength - an example is a ball that allows reduced friction when rolling -down under a moving part. Shafts and couplings such as gears are also transmitting torque and used to connect parts, especially for vehicles such as carsand motorcycles. Although there are many variations and other types of elements of general purpose, they all work on the basis of the same principles of strength and movement and can be incorporated into almost any machine as needed.

The second main category of the machine element is an element of a special purpose machine. These devices also use the basic principles of strength and movement to function, but unlike elements of general purpose, they can only be used in specific applications. Pistons and valves are examples of such parts. The valves control the flow of liquid or gas pipe by an obstacle by an obstacle and can be opened or closed using an external switch or wheel. The pistons move components used in motors and pumps to transmit force from gas or fluid pressure in a cylindrical chamber or force this gas or liquid.

When designing the machine element, engineers try to optimize several factors. The machine element must have sufficient strength and lastIn order to perform reliably the intended function, but should also be the smallest and lightest possible. Ideally, it should also be easy and cheap to produce and maintain while still adapting to industry standards. Given that the basic function of the machine element is the most important consideration in design, the process begins by the fact that the element suits its function and then the integration of other factors.
