What is the sand separator?

The sand separator is a device used to remove sand or mud from liquid suspensions, usually water pumped from growl and well. Most sand separation equipment works by passing the cyclonic flow formula in the water passing through them. This action turns heavier sand particles towards the outside of the separator, where it settles in the collection chambers for later removal. This distinguishes sand separator from conventional filters and is also more reliable and easier to maintain.
