What is Cold-Rolled Steel?

Cold rolled steel is steel produced by cold rolling. Cold rolling is a method in which the No. 1 steel sheet is further thinned to a target thickness at room temperature. Compared with hot-rolled steel sheet, cold-rolled steel sheet has more accurate thickness, smooth and beautiful surface, and also has various superior mechanical properties, especially in terms of processability. Because cold-rolled raw coil is relatively brittle and hard to process, cold-rolled steel sheets are usually delivered to customers after annealing, pickling and surface leveling. The maximum thickness of cold-rolled steel is below 0.1-8.0MM. For example, the thickness of cold-rolled steel plates in most factories is below 4.5MM; the minimum thickness and width are determined according to the equipment capacity and market demand of each factory.

Cold-rolled strip is a strip-shaped thin steel made by cold extrusion (without heating, otherwise called hot rolling). It is a material that rolls steel into the shape we want by cold water. It is made by a machine using a method of extrusion under very cold conditions to make a thin steel with a shape. This kind of processing form, and then cold processing to make the coils we need, including coils, coils, wire. Cold-rolled steel coils are also referred to as cold-rolled coils. Now that the steel processing problem is cold processing, the cold rolled steel coil convex defect has a very serious problem.
Foreign countries say that the main harm of steel coil uplift is that when the convex hull defect reaches a certain degree, the coil will form a local wave after uncoiling, which will affect the use of users. For the study of the hull defect of cold rolled steel coils, most people think that the cause of the bulge defect is the local high point of the strip caused by the local wear of the work rolls of the hot-rolled finishing rolling mill. Local wave shape. Cold rolled strip has been widely used in various fields due to its good surface flatness, smoothness, high stamping performance and dimensional accuracy, and its aging, low yield point, and good stamping properties, such as Construction, machinery, home appliances and coating industries. Its various advantages make it still widely used in various industries for a long time after its rapid rise [1] .
