What Is Involved in the Silk Screen Printing Process?

Screen printing refers to the use of a screen as a printing plate and a photosensitive plate-making method to make a screen printing plate with graphics. Screen printing consists of five major elements: screen printing plates, squeegees, inks, printing tables, and substrates. Use the basic principle that the screen portion of the screen printing plate can penetrate the ink, and the non-text portion can not print through the basic principle of printing. When printing, pour ink on one end of the screen printing plate, apply a certain pressure to the ink part on the screen printing plate with a scraper, and move uniformly toward the other end of the screen printing plate at the same time. Part of the mesh is squeezed onto the substrate. [1]

(printing art)

Scribble printing is the simplest form of stencil printing, beginning in the late 19th century. This type of printing is made on a special wax paper by a typewriter or a stylus to make a wax paper graphic plate, and the ink plate is used to print on the wax paper plate, and the printing material can obtain the ideal printing effect. In stencil printing, the most widely used is screen printing.
Screen printing is to make silk screen, synthetic fiber fabric or metal screen on the screen frame, and use manual engraving paint film or photochemical plate-making method to make screen printing plate. Modern screen printing technology is to use a photosensitive material to make a screen printing plate by photo-engraving. (Residential) Oil paintings, prints, posters, business cards, decorative covers, commodity packaging, commodity signs, printing and dyeing textiles, glass and metal and other flat carriers.
Direct platemaking
Method: The method of direct plate-making is to place the wrist-wound base photosensitive film coated with photosensitive material on the work surface and place it on the work surface. Enter the photosensitive paste and apply pressure coating with a soft blade. After drying, the plastic film base is peeled off. The photosensitive film is attached to the wrist screen and can be used for printing. After development and drying, it is produced
Screen printing originated in China, and has a history of more than 2,000 years. As early as in the Qin and Han dynasties in ancient China, the valerian printing method appeared. By the Eastern Han Dynasty, valerian batik methods had become popular, and the level of printed products had also improved. During the great cause of the Sui Dynasty, people began to print with a frame stretched with a silk screen, so that the process of clip printing was developed into screen printing. According to historical records, the fine clothing worn in the court of the Tang Dynasty was printed in this way. In the Song Dynasty, screen printing has developed, and the original oil-based paint was improved. Starch rubber powder was added to the dye to make it paste for screen printing, making the screen printing products more colorful.
Wire mesh
Screen printing has the advantages of large batches, cheap prices, bright colors, long shelf life, and fast delivery. It is recognized by more and more industries and widely used. Circuit boards on household appliances, patterns on textiles, patterns on T-shirts, t-shirts, shoes, text on refrigerators, televisions, washing machine panels, decoration on ceramics, glass, wall tiles; various commercial advertisements like appliances , Packaging, outdoor, fixed, mobile and other advertising platforms; in the packaging and decoration industry, screen printing high-end packaging boxes, bottles, cigarette packs, wine bags, especially oversized outer packaging and product shape decoration-screen printing applications are abnormal Extensive and closely connected to our lives, its technology is mainly controlled by many printing plants, and small, personalized screen printing technology is taught in the country very little, the market is extremely vast!
Since the 1980s, China has accelerated the research and development of screen printing materials, equipment, and processes, so that screen printing has played an advantage in the competition with flexographic printing, offset printing, and gravure printing. It is increasing at a rate of 7% every year. About 70% of wide-format color screen printing uses spot color printing, and nearly 30% uses four-color overprinting, and the proportion of four-color overprinting is still steadily increasing. Industry survey results show that 70% of enterprises have an annual output value of about 1 million yuan. However, China's screen printing output value accounts for less than 2% of the total printing output value. There is still a lot of potential to be tapped and the development prospect is broad.
The survey shows that the annual screen printing ink consumption in China is more than 20,000 tons, of which about 54% is imported products; the annual screen printing amount is about 10 million square meters, of which about 62% is imported screen printing. 4,300 tons, of which about 57% are imported products. The larger the screen printing factory, the greater the proportion of imported products.
It is expected that the screen printing will maintain a high development speed in the future, and the technology will gradually improve, and the industrial scale will further expand. Authorities predict that in the future, the proportion of screen printing in the total output value of printing production will rise to 10%. There is no doubt that China's screen printing industry is nurturing greater development space and potential markets. It is expected that by 2005 China will become the largest screen printing market in the world. China screen printing will develop in depth and breadth in the future.
For investors, screen printing is definitely a very good project. According to informed sources, the profit margin of screen printing is generally between 40% -50%, so the market has a large gap. In contrast, the surprisingly high profits do not require high investment. Screen printing is suitable for both small-scale production and large-scale operations. An investment of tens of thousands can be involved in operations, and three or five people can invest. Production and investment of several million yuan are also useful. Entrepreneurs can not only set up large-scale investments on their own, they can also buy some equipment, open small workshops, and do secondary and tertiary markets.
At the same time, due to the huge market demand, there is also a huge demand for screen printing skilled workers, and many domestic factories are suffering from the lack of suitable screen printing workers. This is undoubtedly a huge opportunity for employees.
Screen printing consists of five major elements, namely
Advantages of screen printing:
(1) Not limited by the size and shape of the substrate
Generally, printing can only be performed on a flat surface, and silk screen printing can be performed not only on a flat surface but also on a special-shaped molded object such as a spherical curved surface. Shaped objects can be printed by screen printing.
(2) Soft layout and small printing pressure
The silk screen is soft and elastic.
(3) Strong ink coverage
Can be used for pure white printing on all black paper with strong three-dimensional effect.
(4) Suitable for all types of ink
(5) Strong optical rotation resistance
Keeps the gloss of the print unchanged. (Both temperature and daylight have no effect). Which makes printing some
Partial UV varnishing refers to the printing of UV varnish on a certain pattern on the original black print. After finishing the UV varnish, the varnishing pattern looks brighter, brighter and more three-dimensional than the surrounding printing effect. And because the screen printing ink layer is thick, it will bulge after curing, and it looks like an indentation. Silk screen UV varnish is stronger than offset UV in height, levelness and thickness, so it has always been favored by foreign merchants.
Partial UV varnishing on screen printing has solved the problem of adhesion on BOP or PETPPOPP after black printing, and it can also be convex. And scratch resistance, folding resistance, low odor. This creates a large market space, which can be used in printing fields such as packaging, trademarks, books, publicity, etc., to achieve the finishing touch.
The equipment used for screen UV partial UV varnishing is very low, and small quantities will not cause waste (the production cost of each version is between 50--150 yuan, and can be reused repeatedly). The equipment required is: exposure, Printing, UV curing. The entire set of equipment investment can be completed as long as tens of thousands of yuan. The power consumption is about 9kw. It can be used by several staff members, and it is simple and easy to understand. You can give a little pointer. The site occupies an area of 30 square meters. With the above hardware, you can easily have local UV varnishing. UV varnishing paper can reach 60cmX90cm wide paper with a thickness of 5cm.
If you already have the hardware, it will be easier to develop. Just pay attention to choosing UV varnish according to the substrate, choosing net yarn parameters according to the thin concentration of UV varnish and the ink return situation of printing. According to the thickness required by the customer, the thickness of the photoresist and the density and density of the mesh during the exposure process are generally between 350 mesh and 420 mesh.
Screen printing, like other printing, needs to accurately reproduce the graphics and tones of the original. The manuscripts used by screen printing are in principle not very different from the manuscripts used by other printing methods, but in specific plate making and printing practices, the requirements are different, which is mainly determined by the characteristics of screen printing. In particular, due to the thick ink layer and bright color of screen printing, the special effects of screen printing must be fully considered when selecting the original and plate making.
In addition, the requirements for the accuracy of the lines and dots of the original used for screen printing are different from those of the original used for ordinary printing methods. If the lines and dots of the original are very fine, it is very difficult to use screen printing. Therefore, the screen printing technique is not suitable for the reproduction of fine lines and halftone dots. When selecting the printing method, we must fully consider the characteristics of various printing. Even when screen-printing and making plates, the same attention should be paid to the selection of the appropriate network cable in order to achieve the purpose of fully reproducing the original.
Screen printing is more suitable for expressing monochromatic color originals with bright text and lines. It is also suitable for expressing color originals with large contrast and clear levels. The special effects of screen printing make the reproductions rich in expression. Through the rich and thick ink layer and the light and dark contrast of the hue, the texture of the original content and the three-dimensional effect are fully expressed.
There are two types of screen-printed photoengraving originals: reflective originals and transmissive originals. Usually, reflective originals are mainly used. Color photography mostly uses transmission originals.
Screen printing mainly uses positive pictures to make screen plates. Different plate making methods have different requirements on the original.
The characteristics of screen printing are summarized in the following aspects:
Screen printing can use many types of inks. Namely: oily, water-based, synthetic resin emulsion type, powder and other types of inks.
The layout is soft. The screen printing screen is soft and has certain elasticity. It is not only suitable for printing on soft articles such as paper and cloth, but also suitable for printing on hard articles, such as glass, ceramics, etc.
Screen printing embossing force is small. Due to the low pressure used during printing, it is also suitable for printing on fragile objects.
Thick ink layer and strong covering power.
It is not limited by the surface shape and area of the substrate. It can be known from the foregoing that screen printing can be printed not only on flat surfaces, but also on curved surfaces or spherical surfaces; it is not only suitable for printing on small objects, but also suitable for printing on larger objects. This printing method has great flexibility and wide applicability.
There are usually two types of screen printing, namely manual printing and mechanical printing.
Manual printing refers to the movement of the printing plate up and down from the continuous paper to the delivery, and the scraping and printing are all manual operations.
Mechanical printing means that the printing process is completed by mechanical action. Among them, it is divided into semi-automatic and full-automatic printing. Semi-automatic means that the substrate is put in and taken out by manual operation, and printing is completed by machinery; full-automatic means that the entire printing process is completed by machinery.
There is also a quick and easy curved screen printing method for live screen printing, that is, the screen layout is removed and directly pressed against the surface of the substrate for printing. The surface screen printing method can be used to print a large number of processed printed products, such as latex plastic buckets, pure buckets, washbasins, thermos bottles, cups, bowls, plates and other products. At the same time, this method can be used to print signboard characters on cars, and can also be printed on special-shaped planes.
Production of the surface screen version: First, the photosensitive text and graphic version is dried and repaired, and then it is removed and cut according to the size. Wood chips or aluminum sheets are used at the two ends of the screen plate as sticking sticks for the frame, or they can be directly fixed with adhesive, so that the required live-screen screen plate can be made. The operation method of the surface net: use different printing materials for deployment according to the substrate: first select the plate and the plate to mix the ink, and then, one person holds the surface screen and holds the printed part tightly against the substrate On the object surface, another person dipped the ink evenly on the upper surface of the squeegee with a doctor blade, and then placed the squeegee on the squeegee evenly on the plate surface for uniform scraping.
If the area of the printed graphics is too large, you can pour the ink on the plate according to the situation, but do not let the ink flow out of the substrate. Be careful not to mix the ink too thin and not too dry. Printing and painting in a small area can be operated by one person. The method is to stick one end of the printing plate to the desired position of the printing machine with packaging tape, and then use the other hand to hold the printing plate firmly on the printing material. For printing. Note from the beginning of printing: Be sure to press the direction of the end of the tape where the tape is lighter. If two people operate the starting of the advertisement, the same is true. This method of printing has convenient operation, flexible requirements for substrates, and can be large and small. Can be more or less, has the advantage of low cost and energy saving.
Screen printing is not only suitable for general paper printing, but also has a wide range of adaptability. For example: ceramics, glass, printed circuit boards, etc. Depending on the texture of the substrate, the printing is not the same. Although each series has an inseparable internal connection, due to the different physical materials (that is, different chemical and physical properties), each has its own particularity. So usually people are divided into different categories according to the substrate: paper printing, plastic printing, ceramic printing, glass printing, circuit board printing, metal printing, textile printing and other categories. This results in a relatively independent printing system.
The range of screen printing applications is very wide. Except for water and air (including other liquids and gases), any kind of object can be used as a substrate. Some people have said this when evaluating screen printing: If you want to find the ideal printing method on the earth to achieve printing purposes, it is likely to be screen printing.
Specifically, screen printing is mainly applied in the following aspects:
Paper printing art printing-advertising, picture magazines, calendars, lantern paper, etc.
Trademark printing
Transfer printing
According to the principle of screen printing, the ink is printed on the surface of the flat glass, and then the curing measures of the ink are used to make the pattern firm and durable. The process is as follows:
Stretched mesh sizing drying printing development drying
Flat glass cutting edging washing and drying printing
sintering
Suitable for printed glass
The glass can be cut according to the user's requirements, either in a regular shape or an irregular shape, and then ground and ground, then washed and dried for use. Special care should be taken here to avoid water marks on the surface of the flat glass.
Screen selection
The screen printing plate for flat glass printing is the same as the general screen printing plate. The glass screen printing plate uses synthetic fiber screen, stainless steel screen, and natural fiber screen. When printing general color materials, either of the above screens can be used. Generally, cheap synthetic fiber screens are used; when used for gold and silver decoration, stainless steel screens cannot be selected. Screen specifications are generally 270-300 mesh.
Screen frame selection
More regular and less deformed
There is no doubt that if a rotary screen printing machine using water-based inks can be developed, if the screen printing machine is more efficient, if the parameters such as blade pressure, speed, and angle can be read and program-controlled, if printing repeated prints, It can repeat the production according to the program. If the production data can be used correctly from the pre-press preparation to the printing, the screen printing will definitely develop more. China's screen printing will develop in depth and breadth in the future. "Deep" is the development to a higher level. The international screen printing industry has already widely used advanced technologies such as computer design, plate making, and electronic engraving. China is still in the trial stage for these new technologies. Screen printing products, such as outdoor large screen printing advertisements. Therefore, China's packaging printing will have a leap in terms of equipment, technology and scale.
With the increase in the number of screen prints, the number of screen materials and screen plates has also increased. Generally speaking, screen materials were originally borrowed from other industries, and later some other types of materials were developed as screen printing was needed.
But although a variety of non-metallic screen materials have been used in the screen printing industry, such as silk, nylon, and polyester, they still cannot meet all screen printing needs. For example, screen materials used for dye printing or porcelain ink printing must withstand the long-term erosion of ink and solvents, and screen plates need to be recycled. In order to meet the needs of these screen printings, people urgently need a screen with a long life and good stability, so the screen called "metal screen" in the industry was born.
A metal wire mesh can print the finest patterns due to the very consistent diameter of its wire and can reach very fine. The mesh (mesh) of the metal wire mesh is also very consistent and larger than that of other screen materials. Moreover, the metal wire mesh is not like a non-metal wire mesh that is easy to absorb ink. Its metal wires do not absorb ink or solvents. Therefore, a relatively flat ink film layer can be obtained. It has many advantages: frequent replacement of the stencil will not cause damage to the metal screen; inks also easily pass through the metal screen; especially suitable for printing with porcelain ink, glass frit ink, flake copper powder ink and dye ink Occasions; can be used for more delicate operations; metal screen can get thicker ink film layer; better rigidity, accurate overprinting in printing; can be used for mechanical automation, semi-automatic or manual printing. In the past, due to the difficulty of stretching and expensive metal screens, they were generally used only for making small screens, but they are increasingly used in medium and large screens. Although it is more expensive and less resilient, its consistency and unlimited use reduce costs overall. And the correct stretching and printing technology can make up for the shortcomings of poor elasticity.
There are two types of weaving of wire mesh for screen printing, plain weave and twist weaving. Among them, plain weaving is more commonly used, and twist weaving is mostly used for very delicate operations. As shown in Figures 14 and 15, the plain weave is a single warp and weft superimposed, and the twist weave is a double warp and weft superimposed. The meshes produced by both weaving methods are square. The skein method produces thicker screens.
Like other screens, metal screens are classified by mesh (number of screen wires). Use only square meshes instead of rectangular meshes in screen printing. The square mesh has the same number of meshes and the same large mesh size in the length direction and the width direction. The number of meshes per inch or centimeter is calculated by the number of all meshes from any one network cable to a distance of 1 inch. For example: No. 80 wire mesh should have 80X80 meshes per square inch, which has 6400 meshes; No. 300 wire mesh should have 300X300 meshes per square inch, that is, 90,000 consistent meshes. Metal wire mesh is generally marked with the words "Number 80" or "80X80", "Number 165" or "165X165". Typical wire mesh types range from 80 lines / inch (31 lines / cm) to 635 lines / inch (250 lines / cm). However, rougher wire meshes are also available on the market. The lower the number of lines, the larger the mesh; conversely, the higher the number of lines, the smaller the mesh. In a wire mesh, the diameter of a wire is in inches or millimeters.
The choice of screen depends on the condition of the reproduction, the type of ink and the condition of the printing surface. You can buy screen cloths of any size from 1 square foot (0.09 square meters) from screen printers. It can be from 36 inches (91 cm) to about 79 inches (200.7 cm) in width and unlimited length.
Stretched wire mesh
Although the metal screen is not easy to stretch and fix on the screen frame, it does not pose a problem for the printer. It can be nailed to a wooden frame, fixed to a floating rod mesh frame, welded and glued to a metal mesh frame, and fixed to other special mesh frames.
Suppliers and manufacturers recommend that it is best to be fixed on the metal mesh frame for fine work with metal mesh, because the metal mesh frame will not be deformed in any way. If you use a wooden net frame, the strength must be better. In practice, the wooden frame can generally be treated first, that is, the frame is first soaked in a solvent, and the floating rod is coated with linseed oil. When fixing the wire mesh, the wire cloth must first fix the longer side of the screen frame, then the shorter side, then the opposite side, and finally the remaining short side. When fixing the screen cloth, it is best to stretch it with a one-stretcher. In front of the screen puller is a wider plywood which will not damage the screen. This wire drawing tool is available from suppliers and is very useful in situations where a large amount of tension is required on the wire mesh. Screen cloths are best secured with two or three layers of paper to prevent tearing. The paper fibers used are approximately 1/64 inch (0.398 mm) thick.
For novices, a practical and reliable way to secure the wire mesh and pull the net is to use a floating rod frame. Three to four tie rods are required for the wire mesh. The size of the tie rods is recommended to be the same as the inner frame of the wire frame. It is best to use rigid screens or wooden screens impregnated with linseed oil. Since the metal mesh frame is used for a long time, it must be taken very seriously during the final processing. Wire mesh can be nailed to the floating rod. When stretching the screen, apply sufficient tension to the screws to tighten the screen. Be careful not to leave anything on the screen when handling the screen, otherwise the screen will have knots, nicks or sags. If you have a commercial wire drawing tool like the one shown in Figure 12, you can also use it to tighten the wire mesh. In actual operation, there are manual, semi-automatic and full-automatic methods for wire mesh stretching. They easily stretch the wire mesh and quickly attach to the frame.
After the wire mesh is properly prepared, the film can be applied. Photographic stencils such as polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl acetate, modified plastics, commercial screen printing stencils, gel stencils, pressure-sensitive transfer sheets, direct-indirect screen printing sheets, knife engraved sheets, and the like may be attached thereto.
The most important step in the preparation work before making the screen version is to ensure that the metal screen must be clean, because the metal is not absorbent, it must be clean and free of oil, grease, regeneration fluid, and fingerprints, in order to facilitate the better template Ground on metal wire. Most metal wire meshes are coated with a protective oil protective coating and traces of treatment. These materials must be completely removed before being stuck.
Cleaning method of metal wire mesh:
1. The metal screen can be washed with 5-10% glacial acetic acid solution for 5 minutes, and then all the residual liquid is washed with hot water;
2. Hold the wire mesh directly through the gas flame or Bunsen burner, and then wipe it with a cleaning brush to prepare for the film. However, care must be taken not to leave it on the flame for too long;
3 Any diluted etchant can be cleaned with metal wire mesh, and then washed away with hot water;
4 An old method of cleaning wire mesh is to insert the wire mesh on a shelf the same thickness as the net frame, sand it with an emery cloth soaked in pumice stone, volatile oil or lacquer-diluted solvent, and then wash it with hot water. The template can be pasted on the metal mesh;
5. 10% lye or 20% ammonia solution can also be used to clean or degrease the wire mesh;
6. It is also possible to use special cleaning solvents purchased from suppliers.
Each of the above methods can be used to achieve the purpose of cleaning, but you should pay attention to avoid leaving fingerprints on the screen after cleaning the screen, that is, do not touch the screen with your hands. The metal wire mesh should also be careful when storing, and don't let anything fall on the wire mesh to keep it clean.
After so many years of development, screen printing has gradually matured. Due to its wide printing range, it has been enthusiastic for users for many years! However, screen printing also has some disadvantageous characteristics that cannot be ignored. It has also plagued many screen printing practitioners for many years.
1. Multicolor
It is well known that screen printing can only print one color at a time. For multi-color printing, it is necessary to perform complex and tedious color registration! The color registration has high technical requirements. There are relatively few technicians in this area, and it is better to have fewer colors. If you need to print four or five colors at a time, the color registration will inevitably occur. This increases the scrap rate of the product and the cost increases accordingly. But like patterns with more than four colors or gradient colors, silk screens can only reach beyond that!
2. Small batch
Everyone knows that if you want to print a silk screen, you must have a set of processes. That's platemaking and filming. If the amount is small, these costs are quite high. Therefore, the general silk screen companies do not pick up small jobs, mainly because the cost is too high!
3, radian limit
Screen printing, this process can only be aimed at relatively flat products, if there is some unevenness, it can not be completely resolved.
4 Ink level cannot be controlled
As we all know, some products need to maintain their original state while printing, especially textile products. After printing, many customers want to maintain the texture of the textile, so it is difficult to do it with silk printing.
There is a process that can be used to solve these problems of screen printing, that is, a flatbed printer. This process is a new type of digital process that can be printed and formed for a variety of colors at one time, and for small batches of products, the printing cost is completely the same. And it can allow a certain radian (5-7MM), and the amount of ink is very small, printing on the fabric will not affect its texture in the slightest. Therefore, this process can be used with silk screen to complete some difficult products. So that the screen printing technology can get better and more perfect development!
1. Aluminum flat anodized sign
Aluminum flat anodized sign is also a kind of sign, it is widely used. With high brightness, high hardness, good wear resistance. The traditional production process is roughly: mechanical polishing, chemical polishing, oxidation; indirect plate making and screen printing, zinc barium white thick paint and alkyd varnish for protective printing, so whether screen printing or dyeing, there are many processes and Disadvantages such as large material, low printing resistance and high cost. Existing technology adopts the latest technology and uses non-toxic diazo-type photoresist to make plates directly, so that it can meet the requirements of rapid plate making, high resolution, high printing resistance, and less materials. It can also combine printing, dyeing, and unprinting processes, using self-made water-based dyeing printing materials, direct dyeing, and successive color registration. This greatly simplifies the entire process and operating procedures, and enables a new process for flat oxidation dyed signs.
2. High-light three-dimensional embossed aluminum sign
With the continuous improvement of production technology, people have higher and higher requirements for material and spiritual life. People not only have higher and higher requirements for product functions, but also have higher and higher requirements for product appearance and decoration. Especially with the continuous expansion of the foreign trade market, in order to improve the market competitiveness of products, high-gloss three-dimensional embossed signs for high-end products have been widely used.
3 Silk screen plaque
Plaque is one of the main products of the sign factory, which is mainly used for company signboards. The material of the plaque is mainly metal, which requires solemnity, prominent image, and strong decoration. Traditional metal plaques are mainly square plaques with brass floor, corroded characters and black paint. However, as people's aesthetics continue to change, the commodity economy has gradually developed, and new requirements have been placed on the quality and appearance of plaques. The introduction of silk screen processing technology in the sign industry not only promotes the development of silk screen technology, but also provides technical support for the development of new products in the sign industry. Silk screen electroplating plaque is the product of the combination of sign electroplating and silk screen process. The basic method of silk screen electroplating plaque is to make clear text and graphics on the copper plate by silk screen technology, protect the non-graphics parts with ink layer, then perform copper, nickel and chromium plating on the graphic parts, and finally perform mechanical shaping and protection processing Made.
4 Silkscreen conical dial
The method of silk screen conical scale: first use the screen printing screen to print the graphics on the transfer rubber, then install the conical parts on the fixture, and then roll over the transfer rubber, so that the graphics can be printed It's the surface of the conical part.
5. Melamine oxide sign
The surface of anodized anodized signage is enamel-like, with a soft color and lustre. It has good resistance, high hardness, good abrasion resistance, thermal insulation and other advantages. It is a good instrument decoration. During the production process, polluted exhaust gas will be discharged, so the equipment must be equipped with exhaust ventilation equipment to avoid poisoning. The surface treatment of the imitation porcelain plate is almost the same as that of the silk-screen sandblasted oxidized inlaid plate, except that it does not require chemical polishing and can be directly oxidized. The process of imitation porcelain oxidation dyeing sign is the same as silk screen aluminum oxide color sign.
6. Silk screen aluminum oxide sign
After the aluminum oxide sign and panel are oxidized, an oxide film is attached to the surface, making the surface hard and smooth. Poor adhesion with ordinary screen printing inks is the most important issue. To solve this problem, we must first solve the screen printing ink and operation problems. Aluminum oxide screen printing ink must be used, which is the key to the success of silk screen aluminum oxide sign. The difference between this type of ink and ordinary ink is that it will adhere firmly to the aluminum plate surface and has good light resistance, which is the most ideal ink for silk screen aluminum oxide sign.
7. Silkscreen Corrosive Sign
Corrosion signs are a type of traditional signs. Sandblasted oxidized paint signs are common, such as: vehicle license plates, equipment numbers, and various machine tool electrical nameplates; copper chrome plated signs of mechanical and electrical products in harsh operating environments; used for instruments and electronics The surface of the instrument is decorated with porcelain oxidized enamel paint signs and high cursor signs. In the past, the graphics on these signs were achieved through photochemical action through liquid photoresist. This method has the disadvantages of numerous manufacturing processes, low production efficiency, and high labor intensity. The use of silk screen printing technology to print graphics greatly improves production efficiency, and can save a lot of raw materials.
8. Silkscreen Concave and Concave Color Aluminum Sign
Convex and concave signs are characterized by being painted in the recesses, with good abrasion resistance and three-dimensional effects. They are generally used for mechanical nameplates and company plaques. The traditional production method is to manually paint on the corrosion recess, and then trim it by hand to remove the residual paint on the edge. This method is not only time-consuming and inefficient, requires the operator to be very skilled, but also makes the characters of the signboard unclear and of poor quality. stable. It is only suitable for making simple signs with small batches, few color numbers and low quality requirements.

The so-called imitation wood grain is the use of screen printing technology to print various types of wood grain on various industrial boards, such as cherry wood, mahogany, rosewood, autumn wood and so on.
With the development of today's society, people's aesthetic level is getting higher and higher, and they hate the cold steel city. More and more people are beginning to advocate returning to nature and returning to nature. The corresponding products are much favored. People like to use various logs, Solid wood is a product close to nature. However, there are many products that are not only time-consuming and time-consuming, but also inherently lacking in strength and durability, and are not suitable for industrial mass production. Therefore, plastic products are used instead of pure Although bamboo and wood products have the advantages of low cost and practicality, their shortcomings are not beautiful and coordinated, which also makes consumers dislike. Therefore, the corresponding imitation wood grain printing has also been produced. It is mainly used in the appearance of household products such as televisions, washing machines, refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners, as well as various furniture, doors and windows, switches, lighting, etc. The processed products are exactly like The real bamboo and wood pattern is pleasing to the eye.
With the development of science and technology, a variety of screen printing and pad printing machines have emerged rapidly. Various company brands focusing on the design and development of pad printers, screen printing, and other product areas have also emerged. Experts suggest that individual users must pay attention to the maintenance of screen printers, and mesh is a part that cannot be ignored.
The influence of mesh on the quality and safety of screen printing is very large. Therefore, good maintenance of the mesh is necessary. First of all, the screen-printed mesh must be cleaned and degreased when in use. If the mesh is not cleaned in time, it will easily lead to poor screen printing and garbled characters when used next time. If the corresponding degreasing work is not performed, it will easily lead to delamination of the screen. Secondly, it is also an important maintenance strategy to mark the service life and weaving number of the mesh on the mesh frame of the mesh. This can provide more convenience to the use process. Finally, in the process of screen printing, try to avoid contact with sharp objects to prevent accidental damage to the screen fabric.
By taking the above several maintenance suggestions, I believe that many unnecessary troubles can be avoided in the use of fully automatic screen printing in the future.
