How do I treat my elbows?

Loket is a point where three bones are joined - humerus, ulna and radius. Your elbow must allow your arm to move up and down as well as turn your hand. Any break for one or more of these bones in the elbow includes fracture of the elbows. If you want to treat your elbows, you must first go to the doctor. If bones need to be reset, move or edit, it will do it for you.

If you go to the doctor's office after obtaining a elbow fracture, it will explore you. During the exam you may need to take X -rays, answer questions about your injury and how it happened, and allow the doctor to test how far you can move your arm. A clean bone break can only need a splint and rest. If the bones are seriously damaged or dropped out of their right positions, or if the bone pieces need to be removed, surgery may be the right treatment option. The accurate treatment your doctor will prescribe to depend on your age, the type of damage you have obtained, and on the afterLoze bones after a break.

With the exception of children, the cast is usually not used to treat the elbow fracture. Even with children, the fracture is normally treated with a splint over the first few days. The splint is like a cast, except that it does not leave the arm completely. It is usually made of gypsum and allows the arms to remain calm so that the bones can recover. After the arm is recovered, the patient may have to undergo rehabilitation to regain strength in the arm.

If the elbow fracture includes an open fracture or if the nerves or blood vessels need to repair, the surgery may be your doctor choosing. Sometimes a break type requires the use of pins, screws or boards to keep the arms properly recover. The pins are commonly used in children and can be removed after the bones have recovered. Bolts and boards are usually used in older children and adults and may later be removed surgeryKem if there is discomfort.

During healing, it is important that the bones remain calm. The result is an arm that does not move for several weeks or months. In such cases, physical therapy or rehabilitation can be used to help the patient regain movement in the arm. Rehabilitation includes the use of different exercises to help patients get as much of its earlier movement. Your doctor should tell you what type of exercise you should do and when you can do.
