What factors affect Zofran dosing?

Zofran® is a brand for OndaSetron, a medicine that affects the nerves and areas of the brain involved in creating a sense of nausea. It is often used to control nausea and vomiting, although there are other medical uses such as treatment of alcohol dependence. Individuals usually use Zofran® dosage, which is based on treated health. The body weight, age and liver conditions are other factors that can also affect how much ondansetron is necessary to be beneficial. An individual can take another dosage of Zofran® based on how likely their chemotherapeutic drug will cause nausea.
