What is the Hydrocotyle Asianica?

Herb Hydrocotyle Asiana is known under many other names, including Gota bike, Indian Pennywort, Marsh Penny and Brahmi. It is a small ground plant with round, disheveled leaves that grow wildly in wet, warm areas of the southern United States and India, Madagascar, Southeast Asia and Sri Lanka. Hydrocotyle Asiana gets the name Indian Pennywort from the size of his leaves, which are about the size of the old British penny. The plant is valued in Ayurvedic, homeopathic and herbal drugs as a medicine for many complaints. In the 1880s, France officially recognized her as a beneficial medicine.
