What is the relationship between cortisone and weight gain?

Cortison is a synthetic drug that metabolizes in the body to form hormonal cortisol. As if the year 2011 was an exact relationship between cortisone and increasing weight insecure. Cortisone synthetic injections are sometimes given to reduce joint swelling due to rheumatoid arthritis. Over a long time, some patients notice the connection between cortisone and weight gain. The exact reason for this is not known. Not all patients experience weight gain as a side effect of cortisone injection no matter how long the treatment has been.
