Can cats get crazy cows?

Mad Cow Cow OneSe or Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) has many people concerned with their own health. Some stopped eating beef and sheep completely in the hope that diseases do not take place. Although the US government feels reasonably certain that crazy cow disease is not currently a problem with purchased beef, in some other countries the same cannot be said. Many owners of pets concern not only for themselves, but also for their cats and dogs. Because BSE can manifest for years, transmission speed may actually be higher than expected. Also because cats for cats often contain parts of an animal that most likely transmits BSE, such as offal and brains, may be the likelihood of transmission larger. There were also no BSE cases in dogs. Other animals that could be susceptible to crazy cows diseases include Mink, Deer, Elk and Sheep. Yet these animals are rarely brought up as pets.

medical scientists feel that the safest way to protect cats from BSE is to create a diet that does not contain potentially infected ingredients. First, it can be ensured that cat food does not contain any beef. Alternatively, one could buy pet foods that are made of "food for human classes". This will not contain brains or pins.

Domesticated cats should not live on beef. Imagine Mr. Whiskers hunt cattle. Alternative foods can contain chicken, fish, eggs and soy as the main sources of protein. These are considered good or better than beef in the diet for cats.
