What are the Earth's chakras?
The Earth's Chakra are seven places that are expected to be in some places, similar to the chakra of the human body that are described in the Hindu faith. Each of the earthly chakras contains a place that is considered sacred for one or more religion and for many practicing new ages. Hindi teachings suggest that the chakras of the human body allow energy to travel from one part of the body to other parts and that healing occurs when the chakras are equal and balance. Earth's chakras are considered to work in the same way for the planet.
Mount Shasta in the American state of California is often listed as the first of the earthly chakras, also known as the root chakra or Muladhara. This corresponds to the chakra of the hips, legs and the lower part of the human body. Several indigenous American tribes have recognized Mount Shasta as a sacred place.
Lake Titicaca, on the border of Bolivia and Peru in South America, is often listed as a second chakra. The second chakra is known as Svadhisthana and corresponds to the abdomen or sexual chakrain the human body. Lake Titicaca is sometimes associated with the legendary city of Atlantis. Two places in Australia are commonly listed as the third chakra, known as the manipura that corresponds to the sunshine of the human body. Uluru and Kata Tjuta are held as sacred places of Australia natives. These places are part of the legends of indigenous work.
The fourth chakra, known as Anahaata, usually agrees on England, near Somerset, Shaftesbury and Glastonbury. The legends of the Holy Grail are connected to these places. This chakra is associated with heart, lungs and circulatory system in the human body.
The fifth of the earthly chakras, known as Vishuddha, is most often agreed to include three Locations. It is a large pyramid, Mount Sinai and Olivová Hora. This chakra is associated with the cervical chakra of the human body and these places have links to Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
