What is Citracal® Prenatal?

Citracal® Prenatal is a brand of vitamins that the doctor can prescribe to pregnant women. It is available in the form of coated tablets, powder, capsules or chewing tablets and should usually be taken once a day with a glass of water, about two hours after a meal. Like most other prenatal vitamins, its purpose is to prevent the lack of important vitamins during pregnancy and may also be when trying to get pregnant or breastfeeding.

This kind of prenatal vitamin includes all typical minerals in most other brands, adding several others. For example, Citracal® Prennatal includes vitamins A, C, D, E and B6, as well as iron, calcium, riboflavin, thiamine, folic acid and zinc. In addition to these minerals, which are commonly found in most prenatal vitamins, this type of supplement also includes iodine, copper and document sodium, a mineral that is known to help eliminate constipation during pregnancy.

One type of Citracal® Prenatal also includes DHA or DOCOSAHE acidXaeno, known to improve the development of the brain and the eye of the fetus. This product was previously called Citracal® Prennatal + DHA, but is now under the name Citranatal DHA. This supplement to vitamin is omega-3 fatty acid, which is most common in fish, and should help to equalize the fact that pregnant women are to reduce their ingestion of certain types of fish due to the risk of mercury.

Patients can only be prescribed by prenatal Citracal® after they have told their doctor whether they are allergic to any substances or have certain health conditions. For example, patients with iron congestion disorder, tendency to abuse alcohol or jerter or stomach problems should ask your doctor whether this is the best prenatal vitamin for them, because there may be some negative drug interactions. In addition, patients would have a mention for their doctor, what other medicines they take because of the medication against a trip, herbal medicines and more would MOThey were not interacting with this regulation prenatally.

Most people do not experience side effects from prenatal Citracal®, but as with any drugs are possible. Some patients may notice nausea, diarrhea or constipation when they first start taking this prenatal vitamin, but these symptoms should soon disappear. If not, or if swelling, dizziness, rash or respiratory problems begin, a doctor should be announced and the use of vitamins should be terminated.
