What is field hockey?

It is the most similar football (football), but there are some key differences. The target size is 7 x 12 feet (2.1 x 3.7 m) compared to the 8 x 24 feet football goal (2.44 x 7.32 m). There are 11 players in each team. Together with light protective equipment, such as shin guards, the only special equipment is a stick (which resembles a hockey wand) that every player transmits.

Calk is usually made of hard plastic and measures a diameter of about 3 inches (7 cm). Players can touch or hit the ball only with a flat part of the wand and must not hit the ball with any part of their bodies, padded gloves and tingling. Unlike other players, the goalkeeper can touch the ball with any part of the body.

teams try to advance the ball to the opponent's side and score goals. The winner isTeam with the most points after two 35 -minute halves. The game resembles football, but is often much faster. The solution is not allowed, but unintentional precipitation is common. At the highest level, including the Olympic Games, hockey includes complex tactics, agile maneuvers and a very fast game.
