What is Haw?

HAW or nichelbate is a thin third eyelid present in many animals. It moves horizontally over the eye and reaches from the inner corner to the outside of the eye and back. When it is not used, HAW folds into the corner of the eye and is hardly visible. People had them once, but now they are permanently folded into pinkish bulbs in the inner corner of the eye.
