What is a capacitor?

The capacitor is a tool consisting of two conductive boards, each hosting the opposite charge. These boards are separated by a dielectric or other form of insulator that helps them maintain an electric charge. Several types of insulators, including ceramic, polyester, tantalum air and polystyrene, are used in capacitors. Other common insulators include air, paper and plastic. Everyone effectively prevents destinies to touch each other. In the telecommunications industry, another type is used to adjust the frequency and tuning of telecommunications equipment. This is often referred to the variable capacitor . The capacitor is also ideal for storing electrons, but cannot produce them. It consists of a glass container covered with metal on Inside and outside. On the metal coat it is brows through the lid and poured a metal ball. As with all capacitors, the container contains a repeated charged electrode and a plate separated by the insulator. The LeyDen vessel is used to perform experiments in electricity afterHundreds of years.

The capacitor can be measured on a voltage that differs on each of the two inner plates. Both boards are charged, but the current flows in opposite directions. The capacitor contains 1.5 volts, which is the same voltage found in the normal AA battery. Once the voltage is used, one of the two plates is filled with a constant flow flow. At the same time the current flows from the second board.

In order to understand the flow of the capacitor voltage, it is useful to look at naturally occurring examples. For example, Lightning works in a similar way. Thecloud is one of the records and the country is the other. Lightning is a charging factor moving between the ground and the cloud.
