What is fingerprint analysis?
Forensic scientists and officials in criminal proceedings often rely on fingerprint analysis to identify people who could be at a crime or other secrets. They usually analyze and compare the fingerprint sets that they find in the field with those in the database of recorded prints. Most of the analysis is based on the unique friction combs on each finger and there are several ways to detect fingerprints on the surface.
