What is renewable heat?

Renewable heat concerns any heating system that is powered by a renewable source. Wood, biodiesel, geothermal and sunlight are renewable energy sources that can be used to generate heat. Renewable energy is generally defined as any source of energy that can be replaced by the spread of human life. For example, wood can be replaced with ten or two, depending on the type of tree harvested.
