What is text technology to speech?
Text-to-Speech refers to the transfer of written words to voice output using speech synthesis, which is an artificial way of allowing access to verbal communication in alternative form. Text technology refers to software and hardware that provides speech output from text input. This technology can create words from stored phonemes - individual speech elements - and can also store whole words and phrases for better results. Text technology has a wide range of applications. Apple® Snow Leopard® has the "Text to Speech" settings in the "Speech" section in the "System Preference" section and the "Universal Access" section that solves the usefulness of text technology as comfort and help people with visual impairments. Among the user options concerning text technology include the voice used, the level of speaking, whether notification of an OR application requiring attention and whether time should be announced aloud. “Universal Access” provides access to a “voice tool” that provides more possibleOctober for voice control. This is an example of an application category called Screen readers or personal readers .
Readersreaders can serve different features except for help people who are visually impaired. They can enable hearing students access to educational material as the most useful for them. They can help in obtaining foreign languages. Other advantages of these readers help with proofreading and eye reduction. Perhaps even more importantly, because they can and will read anything on the screen, they can allow people who - for some reason - have lost the strength of speech to join the conversation, and the voice in which one communicates can be available from the recorded material of his own voice. Film critic Roger Ebert, who lost the strength of speech due to surgical procedure, after using one of the voices of Mac OS, had a voice from belts from his own speech.
voice-activovThe Ilane® e-mail and text message is an example of text technology to be used in the vehicle, and make access to the safer message when it is on the way. Since e-mail and text messages are rendered aloud and the driver approaches technology through voice activation, the driver does not have to remove his eyes from the road to respond to these roads. Other devices are created specifically for GPS data singing and reading books aloud: This is the case with a number of e -book readers.
