completed operations include any manufacturing function of the company that is either in the process of gradual elimination or has no longer ceased. This may include production facilities that have been closed and are currently available for sale. The completed operations are counted differently from continuing operations in the company's accounts.
Business may decide to terminate the operation of the company or division of the company due to a number of factors. Products produced in a given device may be obsolete or losing attraction to the purchasing public.
