What Are the Different Types of Decision Support Systems?

The composition of a decision support system refers to the structure of the decision support system. The composition of a decision support system (DSS) has a gradual process. One of its pioneers, Elt, proposed seven different types of decision support systems in 1977. From data-oriented to model-oriented, most types have two basic components: database and model library. Because the decision support system particularly emphasizes the human factor of the user, that is, the active role of the person, the system also has a human-machine conversation generator management system (DGMS). In 1980 (Sprague) proposed a decision support system (DSS) composition model, that is, a classic structural model. [1]
