What does a nuclear officer do?

The

nuclear director is responsible for the supervision of important operations aboard a nuclear submarine or ship. Several different countries, including France and Russia, use nuclear energy systems for many of its vessels. In the United States Navy, a nuclear clerk must have a university degree and is responsible for supervision of other staff.

"submarine officer" and "Surface Warfare" are two general career paths for nuclear officers. A nuclear clerk placed on a submarine helps control and drive either an attack or a missile submarine. This requires knowledge of drive systems, weapon systems and atmosphere controls. A relatively small crew of nuclear submarine means that the officer has a wide range of duties and must be informed about all areas of the vessel.

The professional career for a nuclear submarine official begins at the training institute, such as Naval Nuclear School (NNP) in the US. Here the officers spend several MONTHS studying science about a nuclear reactor in the classroom environment. This providesIndividuals solid education in the complexity of nuclear energy. Training usually continues with practical experience with nuclear power plants.

Usually the officer has completed further training, such as the basic course of the submarine (SobC) in the US. This course includes navy and nuclear submarine operations and qualifies a person who leads members of the crew as an officer of the division. Once this training is completed, a nuclear official is ready to drive teams of workers aboard a submarine.

Like submarine officers, surface war officers lead groups of sailors on nuclear ships. Surface containers are larger than submarines, and officers usually help coordinate air defense, drive and surface combat operations. Before the officer serves aboard the nuclear Surface Craft, candidates usually gain experience as an officer of a division on a non -skilled ship that begins JadeRunning training.

The

nuclear director of the surface war attends the same naval nuclear energy school as submarine officers. The location of the nuclear energy unit is also the same. After this standardized training, the surface officer is usually assigned to an engineering plant on a nuclear aircraft carrier. In this position, nuclear officials ensure that the ship's power systems are properly monitored and maintained.

For submarines and surface nuclear officials, there are several images. Individuals can be units of nuclear energy training or work on special projects. Many officers continue to control their own nuclear submarine or send later in their navy career.
