What Are Flat Warts?
The disease is caused by human papilloma virus (HPV) infection and is a viral infectious disease that occurs in adolescents. The clinical manifestations are flat or pink flat papules, which are more common on the face and back of the hand, without obvious symptoms, and the course is chronic. Can be transmitted through direct or indirect contact.

Clinical manifestations of flat warts
- Occurs frequently in adolescents. Sudden onset can occur. Skin lesions are common on the face, back of hands, and arms. They appear as flat papules of various sizes, with mild bulges. The surface is smooth, round, oval, or polygonal. It is densely distributed or lined up due to local scratching. Generally, there are no conscious symptoms, and some patients consciously slightly itch. The course of the disease is chronic and lasts for many years, and some patients can improve on their own.

- Pathological examination of the epidermal net-shaped hyperkeratosis with incomplete keratosis, hypertrophy of the spinous layer, more vacuole cells can be seen in the upper part of the epidermis, basophilic nucleus, and uniform hypertrophy of the granular layer. Dermal changes were not noticeable.
Flat wart treatment
