What are the different types of child cancer?
Cancer is a significant cause of childhood mortality in developed countries, with statistics showing it as the main cause of death of children in the US under 15 years of age. Blood and nervous system - cancer in cells that grow to form bones, blood, muscles and nerve cells - represent more than half of child cancer. Lymphomas, bone cancer, soft tissue cancer and cancer affecting kidneys, eyes or adrenal glands are also common child cancer.
