What is a binding antibody?

Binding antibody is a protein molecule produced by the body as an immune response. Antibodies, also known as immunoglobulins, are created by the immune system to find and attack on foreign organisms in the body. These organisms - or parts of them - are called antigens. The binding antibody is an antibody that has a reaction in combination with the antigen, locks the antigen to it before eliminating or neutralizing. However, the B-cell (BCR) receptor antibodies may require the help of other cells for full activation. Antigens are macromolecules with at least one antigenic determinant or an antigen that recognizes the immune system. They are also called immunogens because they cause an immune response. These attackers can be anything from bacteria or virus to pollen.

The binding antibody reacts with foreign organisms during a humoral immune response. Humoral immune response occurs when antibodies are excreted from body fluids. It differs from cellular immunity that relies on a special typeY white blood cells to attack foreign organisms.

antibodies consist of four polypeptides. Two heavy chains and two light chains are joined to form a Y -shaped molecule. The amino acid sequence is at the tip of each branch and is known as a paratop. As with the castle, the paratope is designed to match one specific epitope.

The surface of each antigen contains an epitope. The epitope is roughly equivalent to the keys, it is specific to each antigen and is recognized by the corresponding paralysis of the antibody. When a paratop and epitop fit together, the binding antibody connects to the antigen. This interaction is referred to as the binding of antibodies.

Once tied, there are two ways to remove the microphone binding. The antibody can indicate an infected cell for attacking other components of the immune system. If this happens, additional cells such as auxiliary are activatedC cells to help destroy invasive organisms. Alternatively, the binding antibody can directly neutralize the antigen. The organism can be eliminated by blocking an area that is essential for its ability to invade and survive.
