What Is a Soft Tissue Mass?
Soft tissue refers to human skin, subcutaneous tissue, muscles, tendons, ligaments, joint capsules, synovial capsules, nerves, blood vessels, and so on. Soft tissue is a relatively important body tissue.
- Soft tissue refers to the human skin,
- From the posterior branch of the spinal nerve.
Soft tissue item area
- From the posterior branch of the cervical nerve, the larger cutaneous branch has the occipital nerve and the third occipital nerve. Occipital nerve: It is the branch of the posterior branch of the second cervical nerve, which is shallow below the starting line of the trapezius muscle, with the occipital artery branch ascending to the occipital skin. The third occipital nerve is a branch of the posterior branch of the third cervical nerve. The trapezius muscle is shallow and distributed to the upper skin of the neck area.
Soft tissue chest and back area
- Branches from the posterior branch of the thoracic and lumbar nerves. Each branch is shallow on both sides of the spinous process, and the upper branches are almost horizontally outward, and the lower branches are diagonally outward, and are distributed to the skin of the chest and back area and waist area. The branch of the posterior branch of the 12th thoracic nerve can reach the hip region. The lateral branches of the posterior branches of the 1st to 3rd lumbar nerves constitute the superior brachial nerves, which pass through the lumbar region and pass through the thoracolumbar fascia. They are distributed to the upper hip region. The nerve is more concentrated above the diaphragm, and this part is within 2cm of the lateral margin of the erector spinae muscle. When the waist is twisted sharply, the nerves in the above parts are easily strained, which is one of the common causes of waist and leg pain.
Soft tissue caudal region
- The branches from the posterior branch of the sacroiliac and caudal nerves are from the posterior superior iliac spine to the tip of the tailbone at different heights. The branches of the posterior branch of the 1st to 3rd phrenic nerves constitute the gluteal mesothelial nerve.
Superficial soft vessels
- The superficial arteries in the neck area mainly come from the branches of the occipital artery, superficial carotid artery, and dorsal scapula. Dorsal chest region comes from branches of posterior intercostal artery, dorsal scapular artery and dorsal thoracic artery. The lumbar region comes from the branch of the lumbar artery. The zygomatic tail comes from the branches of the superior and inferior gluteal arteries. Each artery has associated veins.
