What Is Thermology?

Thermology is a branch of physics that studies the properties and laws of matter when it is in a hot state. It originated from human exploration of cold and hot phenomena. Humans live in the natural world where the seasons change and the climate changes. The hot and cold phenomenon is one of the earliest natural phenomena they observe and understand.

Thermal (Thermology) is a branch of physics that studies the relevant properties and laws of matter when it is in a hot state. It originated from human exploration of hot and cold phenomena.

The former is characterized by changes in the spatial position of objects, known as mechanical motion phenomena, and its laws are studied mechanically; a careful analysis of the latter type of phenomena will reveal that there is a common characteristic, that is, they are all related to temperature. We refer to the phenomenon that the physical properties of such materials change with temperature as thermal phenomena.
The occurrence of thermal phenomena is caused by the random movement of a large number of molecules inside the material. When discussing and studying the laws of thermal phenomena, the overall macro-mechanical motion of objects no longer belongs to the scope of discussion, and people focus on a large number of molecular motions inside the material. Different from the physical concept of mechanical motion, the motion form of macroscopic matter composed of a large number of irregularly moving molecules with thermal phenomena as the main symbol is called thermal motion.
Thermal phenomenon is the macro manifestation of thermal motion, and thermal motion is the micro essence of thermal phenomenon.
