What is water fluoridation?
Water fluoridation is the process of deliberately adding or adjusting fluoride levels in water. Fluoride is generally added because it has been found that fluoride can help prevent people's teeth from breaking up. Many governments such as governments in the United States, Greece and New Zealand have taken the initiative to try to help their citizens in this way. It is believed to strengthen the enamel on the teeth so that the teeth become more resistant to acids and bacteria. In many areas, it is assumed that the amount of fluoride in water is naturally not enough to offer these benefits. The purpose of water fluoridation is to ensure the correct level of concentration. Some places can be considered a sufficient amount of mineral and nothing needs to be done. When fluoride is added, it can be increased by different quantities in different places. In some places, however, the amount of fluoride is considered excessive and can be reduced.
generally assumed that lowFluoride levels are no health threats. In larger doses, fluoride can lead to problems. Dental fluorosis is damage caused by teeth due to excessive fluoride intake. It is assumed that this most likely happens when naturally occurring fluoride levels are too high. This is one of the reasons why fluoride is sometimes reduced.
Some people claim that water fluoridation causes further problems. In general, if a significant amount of fluoride is used, this could lead to fluoride poisoning. Many people deny that there are reasonable chances that this will become concentrations that generally occur in water.
their opponents, some time they tend to believe that fluoride can be toxic when it is added to drinking water. Some believe that too much fluoride can cause bone problems. These people often claim that water fluoridation can lead to fractures of hip, cancer and liver damage. They also point to studies that show that FLUOrid does not offer teeth as much protection as originally thought.
water fluoridation is generally considered to be an economically healthy decision of supporters. If the fluoride was not added to the water, it would be designed that many people, especially children, are given supplements in a different form. Calculations generally show that the offer of potential benefits for all through drinking water is cheaper than having a smaller part of people pay for each product.
