What is an intelligent agent?

Intelligent agent is a computer entity that works independently and tries to complete the pre -written goals. In order to complete the goals, an intelligent agent must be able to analyze and adapt to external stimuli; Otherwise, it may not be able to achieve exactly the goals. While some simple systems have one agent, complex systems come up with agents that operate under the main agent to perform a list of small tasks and directly report the main agent. The agent usually can learn through artificial intelligence, but the agent is only made to have only certain reactions to external stimuli and cannot create new reactions. Along with this, the agent is programmed to have certain goals, depending on what the system is supposed to do. For example, if the system is air conditioning, the goals may include Air cooling and on and off if necessary. Although the system can learn to be more efficient, it cannot go against pre -written goals.

In order to achieve these goals, an intelligent agent must be able to analyze himself and adapt to situations. With the air conditioning air conditioning system, the device is made to cool the air so that it must be able to analyze the outside temperature. By analyzing the external temperature and the system, the agent will know when it is appropriate to turn on or off or adapt to the situation. This also allows the agent to control errors in his logic, which he can then correct to better serve pre -written goals.

Simple systems usually have one intelligent agent who can easily control all functions. Complex systems may require several intelligent agents, but in general they are given a hierarchy to avoid internal logical struggle. Sub-agenti perform tasks and usually follow the main agent who oversees these tasks and ensures the system running properly.

During its operation, an intelligent agent usually learns how the mostépe serve its purpose by checking the error and the rate of success. While the agent can learn to perform actions better, it can only perform pre -written actions. Air conditioning cannot perform a task that is not written in its code, such as the move to better cool the room. Like goals, it cannot change its actions, but can change how well the system performs these actions.
