What is the playground?
"Pitch Circle" is a term used in the discussion on the mechanics of the gears. It is an imaginary circle that passes through points where two interconnecting wheels touch. When calculating several measurements related to the gearbox mechanics, it is important to know the pitch diameter.
The two gears can connect in different ways. One gears can rotate inside another gear, including a gear or even perpendicular to a different gear. The connected gears transmits power from one part of the machine to another piece of machine. For proper functioning, the system must be designed so that the gears are a suitable size and diameter to transfer the correct amount of energy at the required speed.
In order to make sure the power supply is transmitted as effectively as possible, the transmission systems must be carefully designed so that the teeth of one gear to turn the teeth of the next gear. The diameter of the circle is required to perform some of these calculations. WhoThe two gears are connected to the circles of both gears.
The pitch circle can be divided into other important components. A circular pitch or pitch is a distance between gear teeth. For the two wheels to be blocked, the distance from one tooth along the circle of the pitch to the next tooth must be the same in both gears. Otherwise, they will not be synchronized when it turns. The gear area between the pitch circle and the upper part of the toothed tooth is called additions and the area from the circle of the playground to the bottom of the gearbox is called the dedum.
After drawing the circle of the course, the circle diameter and the radius of the circle of each gear wheel can be determined. The ratio of the circle diameter of the first degree to the diameter of the second degree circle diameter must be the same as the ratio of the number of teeth in the first gear to the number of teeth in the second gear. By knowing the ratio of two diameters of the pitch of the circle, the engineerIt also knows how many teeth each gear must have per square inch or square centimeter. The ratio of the circle diameter of the speed pitch is also equal to the speed ratio, which is the ratio of the input device rotation speed to the speed of the output device. Knowledge of the transmission circle diameter is therefore necessary to determine whether one gear will work with another in the gear system.
