What is the power conveyor?

Power Comptor is the name of the transport system that uses inhumane energy to operate. Usually, these systems that run on wheels that are powered by electricity, but are not always the case. Some systems use non -electrical energy, such as wind or water energy, while other conveyors use rollers instead of belts. In a typical belt system, the conveyor belt is wrapped around a series of roller wheels, one of which is powered by an external system. This roller moves the belt and the other rollers are used only for support.

The idea of a power conveyor is very simple. The flat belt is made in the shape of a ring and placed over several cylinders that support the belt and allow it to maintain a constant shape. One or more cylinders is connected to the energy source, usually with the engine. The engine turns one or more cylinders, causing the belt movement. Users can then place items on one end of the belt and move the movement to the other end.

Belts on a typical power conveyor are made of composite material, which is designed to be tailored to the conditions in which the belt will operate. In general, the base of the belt is a hard but flexible material. In the past, it was usually a canvas, but newer belts use a wide range of natural and artificial materials. This core is then covered with several protective layers to prevent damage to disrupt the belt operation. Finally, the outer coating, often rubber, gives a traction of the belt against cylinders and maintains moving objects in slipping.

rollers used by the power conveyor are also quite simple. There are two types of cylinders: idling rollers, consisting of a metal rod surrounded by a loose movable metal drum and active rollers that look the same, but the drum is attached to the rod. The outer surface of the drum is either textured or associated with the material ensures better adhesion, and this outer area is in directcontact with the belt. Active rollers are connected to the energy source and the idle rollers are not.

6 These rollers are either powered, in which case their surfaces have heavy grip, or only some are powered, then only with the surface of adhesion and the rest are very smooth. The adhesion on active cylinders allows them to push work objects with extra force along relatively smooth idle cylinders.
