What Is a Trencher?
The trencher is a new and efficient trenching device. After the diesel engine transmits the rotation to the clutch through the belt, it drives the traveling gearbox, transmission shaft, rear axle, etc. to realize the forward or backward linear motion of the chain trencher. Used for laying farmland pipes, urban and rural optical cables, etc.
- With the development of the economy, the state has strengthened its capital construction, the number of underground pipelines and electrical (optical) cable laying projects has surged, and the quality requirements have increased. Manual excavation is not only inefficient,
- The quadruple belt transmits the rotation of the diesel engine in the power system to the reduction box in the reduction system, and then drives the main sprocket mounted on it, and the main sprocket drives the meshing chain to rotate. The cutter is installed on the chain. Driven by the power system, the chain drives the cutter to rotate and translate, thereby achieving ditching. Using the chain ditching machine described in this solution, the excavation can be realized
- This machine uses a rotating milling and polishing disc as the main working part to build farmland construction machinery for irrigation and drainage ditch. The main features are excavation of small projects such as asphalt roadsides, village trench cables or heaven and earth.
Trencher classification
- According to the structure type, there are two types: double disc type and single disc type;
- According to the operation method, it can be divided into two types: low-speed one-time ditch formation and high-speed multiple-time ditch formation.
Trencher operation requirements
- The forward speed of the unit during operation is 50-200 meters / hour in one trench, and 200-400 meters / hour in multiple trenches. For a rotary ditching machine with multiple ditching, the wheel track or track center distance of the supporting tractor must be properly matched with the ditch width for smooth operation.
Difference between trenchers
- The double disc rotary ditching machine has two left and right symmetrically arranged milling and polishing discs. During the operation, the soil on both sides of the trench is milled and thrown at the same time by two plates. The single disc rotary ditching machine has only one milling and polishing disc for milling soil on one side of the ditch, and the other side is installed with a straight cutting blade inclined to cut out the trench wall; the cut soil falls to the milling and polishing disc Above, it is thrown out of the ditch together with the soil cut by the milling disc. Its structure is simpler than the double disc type, but the traction resistance is large.
Trencher working application
- Rotary ditching machine requires very little traction power, and the thrown soil can be evenly scattered on both sides of the ditch without trimming. However, the machine structure is more complicated, the productivity is lower, and the energy consumption per unit of earth is greater than that of the trencher. Milling and throwing 1 cubic meter of soil takes about 0.15-0.45 kW / h. The tractor supporting the rotary ditcher needs to have an ultra-low gear.
