What is offset printing?

Offset printing, also referred to as offset lithography, is the type of printing process used by virtually all large commercial printers. This is called offset because the ink is not directly pushed on paper, but is distributed from a metal plate to a rubber mat, where it is then deployed on paper.

Offset printing can be done on a web print, one that uses huge roles of continuous powered paper, or press, as expected, use pressing with press. Both types of presses produce printed materials that can be cut into size after printing. Offset printing uses all the latest printing technologies, including computers that help in design. Computers are also used to generate instructions for ink colors and distribution to paper. Images to be printed are created on a computer and then "burned" on a metal plate use of a chemical development process of a similar photo. Metal plates are damaged by water that is held by an area without pictures. InkIt is added further, one color at a time, where it holds on the areas with pictures. State -of -the -art systems use a direct board system in which images are burned directly on metal plates; Omitting a secondary step saves time and money.

The colors used in offset printing are usually cyan, purple, yellow and black, represented by the letter K (CMYK). Note that K is used to represent black to ensure that the blue does not confusion. Various percent of each of these four colors creates virtually every color used in offset printing. There are color comparison systems such as Pantone®, which allows printing buyers to see color. The code for this color can be entered into the computer of offset printers and to set the percentage of each color to be used.

The

technology behind the offset printing allows you to quickly and without any changes in the ink distribution. Final printed mThe athekers produced through offset lithography also dry up quickly and maintain the production process smoothly in motion from printing to the target work of cutting and binding materials.
