What Is a Beclomethasone Inhaler?

Beclomethasone is a synthetic adrenocortical hormone with strong anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and antipruritic effects. It can inhibit bronchial secretion, eliminate bronchial mucosal swelling, and relieve bronchospasm. Pharmacological studies show that the local contraction of microvessels is stronger than that of hydrocortisone, and the local anti-inflammatory effect is 5 times that of fludrocortisone and triamcinolone. Hormone-like effects have no significant effect on body temperature and urination. Therefore, local application will not inhibit human adrenal cortex function, nor will it cause cortical dysfunction and produce adverse reactions.
