What is an neurectomy?

Neuectomy is a type of surgery in which the surgeon removes the whole or part of the nerve. This surgery is generally considered to be an extreme approach to treatment that will only be taken if other methods of treatment do not work because there are certain risks for neuralia that can be dangerous to the patient. The neurosurgeon usually performs this procedure and relies on years of experience with the nervous system to perform gentle work associated with removing the nerve from the body. If other therapeutic pain methods have failed, the surgeon can remove the nerves sending pain signals, alleviating the patient's pain. Necessectomy can also be used to treat other feelings that are disturbing or worrying for the patient. Because it may sometimes include fine nerves around the face, it requires a very high degree of skills and a stable hand to ensure that the correct connection is interrupted without causing damage to the surrounding nerves.

Before performing an neuralia, the surgeon may recommend that the procedure to temporarily block the signals from the nerve. This allows the surgeon to confirm which nerve is responsible for the problem, and gives the patient a chance to experience what life could be without sensory entry from this nerve. This may also reveal that the problem that is assumed that it is in a particular nerve lies elsewhere, something that would be good to know before the nerve is permanently excluded from the commission.

When a patient wakes up from neuralism, he should experience immediate relief from a state that led to an neurlectomic procedure. However, the pacifier may also experience numbness and other symptoms such as tingling or worsening of the surrounding nerves. In rare cases, the state called Stump Neuroma occurs. In this case, even if the nerve is gone, the patient experiences pain. This condition also plays a role in the phantom limb syndrome, a condition that some amputs experience. While the brain is a highly adaptable organ, it can sometimes bI have to replace the main change that may lead to omitting neurons that cause pain when no pain is present.
