Article 5 Postgraduates with a master's degree in clinical medicine (residents) shall have the dual status of masters and residents and shall be administered by universities and training hospitals.

Article 6 The enrollment target is, in principle, fresh graduates of medical specialty who have participated in standardized training of residents in Shanghai.

Article 7 The method of enrollment is to recommend exemptions and national unified examinations, and organize the implementation according to the requirements of the Ministry of Education for the admission of graduate students.

Article 8 Universities and training hospitals jointly organize postgraduate re-entry examinations and recruitment of residents.

Article 9 The training course is composed of political theory courses, foreign languages, basic theory and professional courses.

Article 10 Basic theoretical courses are combined with public subjects of standardized training for residents; professional courses are combined with professional theoretical courses specified in the standardized training program for residents.

Article 11 Postgraduates shall conduct clinical skills training and complete clinical training rotations in accordance with the requirements of the Specialized Training Regulations for Shanghai Residents, and shall pass the examinations for each subject, the annual assessment and the comprehensive assessment as required by the standardized training for residents , Obtained "Physician Qualification Certificate" and "Shanghai Resident Doctor Standardized Training Qualification Certificate".

Article 12 The duration of postgraduate study is generally three years, with a maximum of four years. During the graduate training period, if the standardized training of residents is terminated due to personal reasons, the postgraduate registration will be automatically cancelled at the same time.

Article 13 Colleges and universities shall, in accordance with the requirements of this implementation method, formulate a training plan for postgraduates (resident physicians) in clinical medicine.

Article 14 An application for a master's degree in clinical medicine should meet the following conditions:

(1) Completion of the courses specified in the training plan with satisfactory results;

(2) Obtaining the "Physician Qualification Certificate";

(3) Obtaining the "Shanghai Municipality Standardized Training Qualification Certificate";

(4) Thesis defense by the degree-granting unit.

At the same time, those who meet the above conditions may apply to the relevant degree-granting unit. After examination and approval, the degree-granting unit will issue a master's degree certificate and a professional degree certificate in clinical medicine.

Article 15 Postgraduates (residents) in clinical medicine with a master's degree admitted to colleges and universities shall obtain postgraduate status, but shall not be included in the scope of reform of the graduate education mechanism of universities, and shall not be entitled to state and university graduate teaching assistantships, research assistants, management assistance subsidies and living subsidies .

Article 16 Postgraduates (residents) with a master's degree in clinical medicine, during the training period, can enjoy various benefits and benefits as stipulated in the Measures for the Implementation of Standardized Training of Shanghai Residents.

Article 17 The implementation of these measures shall be jointly explained by the Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau and the Shanghai Education Commission.
