What are grasshoppers?

grasshoppers are grasshoppers in the family acrididae . Many people associate them with biblical plague of insects recorded in Exodus, but modern locusts also cause decent damage. Fortunately, for farmers, they will only swarm under certain conditions, and many of these insects live a peaceful, peaceful life without similarity to their infamous biblical ancestors. They are also able to produce musical sounds with their wings and back legs and have distinctive short antennas. This last feature led some people to call the grasshoppers "short corner grasshoppers". When the insects put eggs, they bury them in the ground; When the eggs hatch, a larval form called nymph appears. Nymphs slowly ripen to adults to repeat the reproduction cycle.

In most circumstances, grasshoppers live relatively lonely lives, looking for food, laying eggs, and then dying quietly. However, when grasshoppers are exposed to overflows like nymphs, they develop on Gregarious migration adults. This evolutionary reaction was probably designed so that ABY ensured that the young had a chance of survival by encouraging them to let go far, but groups of these insects had a devastating effect on human crops for thousands of years.

When grassy swarms, they can eat their own body weight in food every day. They gather in huge groups that are literally darkening the sky and dressing the field bare. There is little to fight against modern grasslands; Many farmers burn green branches to create smoke in the hope that insects will set off, but this technique is not always effective. The regulation of grasshoppers is sometimes used predatory species along with chemical solutions such as insecticides, but none of these methods is resistant to fool. In astounlingly a short time, they can completely destroy the crop; Irritable to commercial agriculture, but life -threatening for farmers.

These interesting locusts were a frequent subject of study for biologistsand scientists. Their unusual swarm behavior was extensively studied in the hope that understanding and possibly prevent devastating swarms. One of the best known is the desert grasshopper, Schistocerca Gregaria , which is bothering a large part of Africa, Asia and the Middle East in huge swarms that can travel over huge distances, causing serious damage.
