What is the uterine ligament?

uterosacral liga is a paired ligament of a female pelvis that runs between the uterus and the cross bone, the bone at the base of the vertebral column in the pelvis. It is also known as a recto-neuterin ligament, it is one of the three pair of peritoneal bonds that help in holding the uterus in place in the pelvic cavity. This ligament arises from the rec and the neurin folds of the recourine case, the space found just behind the cervix near the bottom of the uterus and attached to the front aspect of the cross wheel. It is essentially a continuation of the Rekto-Neurin folds bordering on the lower uterus. Rekto-neurin folds consist of tissue from peritoneum, membranes encapsulating abdominal cavity, which extends down into the pan and ends where it meets the uterus along its front, superiors and rear borders.

where the peritoneum immerses behind the uterus, it creates a narrowed cavity known as a recto-neurine case or excavation. The walls of this case consist of a recto-neurine folds. These folds along the base of the inside of this case arisesuterus.

formed immediately behind the cervix, which is a hole in the bottom of the uterus from the vagina, paired uterine ligaments on both sides of the rear of the uterus. Each ligament extends backwards and upwards along both sides of the pelvis and converges backwards to attach to the front lower net. The bone is stacked - in fact, five fused bones in adults - which are shaped as a wedge and narrows as it descends. It creates the rear wall of the pelvic cavity and is bounded at the fifth lumbar vertebra and below with a coccyx or tail.

together with Pubecvice and cardinal ties, the uterine bonds fnebochbly hold the uterus in place in the pelvic cavity. Both other paired ligaments are based on both sides of the cervix, while the pubtor ligaments spread first to attach to the hair in front of the lower pelvis and cardinal bonds stretch laterally to attach to the ischial spineon the sides of the pelvis. The uterosacral liga supports the uterus from behind, of course by attaching to the cross force at the vertebral column base. This organ is further supported by the pelvic floor muscles below; Urogenital diaphragm at the front; and peritoneum, above and behind.
