What is the connection between the cell cycle and the cancer?

There is a strong connection between the cell cycle and cancer. In cancer cells, the cell cycle no longer works normally and the resulting abnormal cells grow uncontrollably. These rapidly growing cells become tumors and cause damage to various organs and organ systems. Cancer cells are divided in the same way as other cells, but due to an error in their genetic coding, they are distributed without numerous safety measures that prevent too often the division of normal cells.

All cells in the body are divided for reproduction and in healthy cells a number of factors check whether the cell is divided. Healthy cells are able to determine that there is enough space and nutrition to support two cells where there was only one. They can also determine whether deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) has been correctly replicated. Normal cells are also divided only if certain hormones are present.

Cancer cells are able to divide without the presence of hormones that do not regulate the division of healthy cells. Also, these cells do not respond to the proximity of other cells, which means they are able to continue replication, even if there is no space for them. Faulty DNA is ignored in cancer cells, so the cells continue to divide the process, even if the daughter cells are damaged. Tumors are formed because the unregulated cell cycle continues and produces rapidly growing abnormal tissue.

The connection between the cell cycle and the cancer is that the cycle in cancer cells was disturbed. Abnormal cells no longer accept the instructions given by normal cells, including the instructions that tell them to divide, and more importantly, the information they instruct them to die. DNA of damaged cells often lack a gene responsible for the production of protein that inhibits cell division. Cancer cells can also produce substances that are harmful to normal cells and that allow cancer cells to spread beyond the borders in whichNormal cells were contained.

In order for the uncontrolled cell cycle and cancer to develop, the DNA had to mutate in the cell. Carcinogens may be for creating these mutations. However, they may also occur spontaneously or inherited as other properties.
