What is the distal intricate tube?

Distal tangled tube is a twisted structure similar to a tube of about 0.2 inches (about 5 mm) to a length located inside a part of the kidney known as nephron. Each kidney contains many nephrons, and these are functional units in which the blood is filtered for urine. One nephron consists of a renal body that contains small blood vessels where the blood is filtered and a kidney tube. The renal tube consists of three different sections that carry filtered liquid or filtrate, away from the kidneys while processing it to form urine. The distal braided tube is the farthest section from the kidney corpus and the cells that are lined are able to actively pump potentially harmful substances such as ammonia, urea and certain drugs, blood and urine.
