What is the yellow bile?

yellow bile is one of the four humor that formed the foundation stone of ancient medical practice. It was assumed that one of four liquids contained in the human body: blood, water, black bile and yellow bile. It was assumed that the yellow bile represents an element of fire, and it was assumed that the excessive amount caused adverse medical effects and changes in temperament similar to anger.

It was assumed that the excess of any humor caused changes in temperament. The yellow bile was associated with a choleric or angry temperament. It was assumed that the unhealthy amount of yellow bile in the body caused a disease that caused those that affected them to behave. The yellow bile was associated with the with in the summer season and too much exposed to the summer climate was considered an imbalance between humor, which isconsequence of a choleric disease.

Advances in medicine have revealed that the bile is produced by the liver and is used to digest vertebrates. It is not affected by hot and dry climate because the theorized by ancient doctors. The name Cholera infectious disease is taken from the term cholera, another word for yellow bile. Cholera is a small intestine infection where bile helps in digestion, which can lead to dehydration.
