What is the nanotechnological initiative?
Nanotechnology is the application of engineering and scientific theories that create and use things on a very small scale. Scientists trying to study the basics of materials that exist because of their small size are called nankercators. The nanoparticles ranges from about 1 nanometer to 100 nanometers. In the layman, this means that the smallest nanoparticles are increasingly than atom or molecule, but smaller than the object monitored under the microscope.
In the United States, a national nanotechnological initiative (NNI) was created to provide a federal project for research and development of nanotechnology. The aim is for nni to serve as a center for federal agencies that need to cooperate and communicate their goals and strategies in nanotechnology. NNI objectives include progress in the field of research and development, which makes the new technologies beneficial to the public, the development of educational programs that will be further nanotechnology and will ensure tonanotechnological development is responsible. Federal agencies fromApared to NNI work on creating new drugs, products and medical devices, everything to better serve the public.
Thenni centers offer opportunities and assistance for research in a wide range of disciplines and from various sectors such as academic communities, government and industrial laboratories. Such research will lead to the development of knowledge and building relationships that will improve the study of nanotechnology and the initiative of nanotechnology. For example, at the University of Colorado, Boulder, the National Science Foundation Center for extreme ultraviolet science and technology, the Ministry of Energy has a Nanophase Material Science Center in Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Ministry of Defense has a nano -research institute.
In 2001, India National Nanoscience and Technology Intiative (NSTI) began. The Indian Nanotechnology Initiative includes three main areas: Research, Education and PRintention. In addition, India suggests laboratories and equipment to look deeper into the world of nanotechnology. Interesting projects include the use of carbon nanotubes for measuring fluid flow, synthetic and handling of nanotubesis and use of biosynthesis to create nanomaterials.
Israel also has its own initiative, the Israeli national initiative of nanotechnological initiative (Inni). Through its initiative, it creates a national policy for financing nanotechnology, creates a research and educational program based on nanotechnology and supports the local industry based on nanotechnology. Israelis are working on finding funding, specifically for further research and development.
The European version of the Nanotechnology Initiative is called the European Commission. The Commission is in charge of Aking's mopolitics and finding the financing of nanotechnology. The aim of the Commission is to finance research that is beneficial to the company and which will allow industrial sectors to compete in the Nanotechnol fieldOgie throughout Europe. Nanomedical proposals were required, such as medicines that will fight cancer; Nanomaterials for water protection; and nanotechnology for new technologies in the energy industry.
