What is the chemical pulp?
pulp is a wood fiber that is generally used to make paper. Chemical pulp is created by a method that uses chemicals and heat to convert wood into pulp. This process can be and generally used as an alternative to mechanical interlocking, which includes obtaining wood fibers by grinding. The chemical interface generally leads to paper production with greater sheet strength than the paper produced by mechanical distribution. It is also a process that can be considered highly effective due to the possibility of chemical regeneration.
Chemical recovery is part of a process in which the chemicals used to treat wood are reused for another purpose. In some cases, this used liquid, which is often called liqueur, is used to produce other chemicals. In other cases, chemicals are used to create energy.
There are two widely recognized processes for the production of chemical pulp. One is Known as a sulphate raking. The second is known as sulfit distribution. The main differences between them are the chemicals used, the quality of the paper produced and the chemical recovery economy.
Sulphate is a process that was developed in Germany in 1879. Sometimes it is called kraft pulping, because kraft means power in German and paper made with this chemical pulp is strong. It can be used to make paper bags, writing paper or diapers. Chemicals are usually obtained in this process.
Surfit Rulping is a process that has been developed in the United States in 1867. In general, this results in a light chemical pulp, which is easier to whiten and more easily improved. The paper produced by this method can be used for newspapers, writing paper or cellophane. However, there is not always chemical recovery with this method.
Both processes are generally performed in a similar way. The chemical distribution usually begins by making trees to createLy chips. These chips are then cooked in a chemical mixture or liqueur. The purpose of this is to dissolve the wood lign, a natural component that connects the fibers together and decompose other elements in the wood. When this part of the process is completed, the liqueur is generally black.
This black liqueur is what is used in the chemical regeneration process. It can be used in the production of another chemical such as high oil. It can also be burned to generate heat or electricity.
