What is potential energy?

Potential energy is the stored position of position. This can be considered an energy that is "stored" by any physical system. This is called potential, because in its current form it does not work or cause any change in the area. However, it has the potential to convert to various forms of energy such as kinetic energy. The standard unit for measuring such energy is Joule. For example, the ball at the end of spring has energy that will be converted into kinetic energy if you leave to return to your original position. The weight held above the ground will have potential energy when released, because gravity will pull it back to its original position. Energy spent on raising the object or compressing the spring simply does not disappear, it is "stored" as potential energy. It is then released as a kinetic energy by renewal force. Energy input is equal to energy performance; There is no profit or loss of total energy.

There are many different types of potential energy. Potential elastic energy exists when an elastic object such as a bow or rubber belt, stretched or otherwise deformed under stress. Potential chemical energy is related to chemical bindings in the molecule. In chemical reactions, the energy of chemical potential is transformed into other forms of energy because the bonds are broken and reformed. Potential electricity has three primary forms: electrostatic, electrodynamic and nuclear.

Potential electrostatic energy exists when the particle is charged at rest. It has potential energy due to its location in relation to other charged particles. Potential electrodynamic energy exists due to movable charged particles. These particles can form an electromagnetic field that has the potential to move other objects. Potential nuclear energy exists due to relationships between subatomical particles such as protons, electrons and neutrons, at the core of atoms.

in all their ownH Many forms are always defined as the energy that is stored in the system. Although it cannot do it separately, it can be changed to other forms of energy that can cause change and work.
