What is a linear power supply?
As the name suggests, the power supply is part of the power supply. The simplest power supply is a linear power supply that uses a transformer and a rectifier to convert voltage from the wall socket into the type of energy that the device needs. There are two types of this type of power: regulated and unregulated. This is called AC current, because the electric charge is changing regularly.
