What Is Resource Productivity?
Also known as "resource productivity." Output capacity of unit natural resource input. Natural resources include renewable and non-renewable resources. The most common is energy productivity, or "energy efficiency," which measures the rate of output or added value per unit of energy. The more benefits a unit resource produces, the higher the resource utilization efficiency and the higher the resource productivity. It is required to input and output the most value with the least resources to minimize the amount of waste, thereby reducing the adverse environmental impact of economic activities.
