What are the different CBEST® scores?

California Basic Educational Skills Test ™ (CBEST®) consists of three sections: reading, mathematics and writing. These sections form the CBEST® score. When these separate scores are added up, they form the entire test score.

Each part of the test is evaluated separately on a scale of 20 to 80, while the scoring score on any section is a scalated score of 41. To pass CBest®, the overall score that one gets when there are three different scores must be at least 123. The writing section is a slightly different score from how well you wrote your two essays. Scoring for the writing section is performed holistic on a four -point scale at least two different people. For each essay, the score is a combination of two different scores. The entire score of the writing section consists of the fact that both essay scores are finally added and converted to suit the score scale.

In order to analyze the CBEST® score, the person tests in different areas of skills in different areas of reading and mathematics. For example, in the read section, a person tests critical analysis and evaluation and understanding and research skills . If a person in one section really well and not on another, his report on the score suggests. This indication helps a person to study a certain area of skills if they have to repeat part of the test again. For the Writing section, the average score, you can know what to improve with your writing.

The

person who goes through CBEST® does not have to repeat the test. On the other hand, if a person passes two sections, but not the third, this third part will have to go through CBest® again. It could even be a good idea to repeat all three sections, even if it is not necessary. This is because the highest score that a person gets in each section is a score that is used to calculate your entire test score. The highest score of CBEST® set together by mu give the best opportunity to achieve 123.
