What Are the Different Types of Teacher Training Programs?

The National Training Program for Primary and Secondary School Teachers, referred to as the "National Training Program", was fully implemented by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance in 2010. It is an important measure to improve the overall quality of primary and secondary school teachers, especially rural teachers. The "National Training Program" includes two items: "model training programs for primary and secondary school teachers" and "training programs for key teachers in rural areas in the central and western regions".

(I) "National Training Program"-a demonstration training program for primary and secondary school teachers

The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance directly organize and implement demonstration training for primary and secondary school teachers in various provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities), which mainly include backbone teacher training for primary and secondary schools, remote training for primary and secondary school teachers, teacher training for class teachers, and training for teachers in weak and weak subjects in primary and secondary schools. In accordance with the spirit of the "Notice of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance on the Implementation of the" National Training Program for Primary and Middle School Teachers "(Teacher [2010] No. 4), our Ministry will organize experts to undertake training tasks for the selection of qualified institutions (institutions).
